Over a decade ago, my journey into real estate began with a vision and a single investment. In October 2013, my husband and I purchased our first property—a charming townhouse in Sydney’s prestigious Northern Beaches for $855K. Just two and a half years later, in February 2016, we sold it for $1.25M, securing a profit of $395K.

At the time, we didn’t have the luxury of a full 20% deposit and had to navigate the costs of Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI). Yet, rather than seeing it as a setback, we leveraged the equity from our first property to propel us toward our next opportunity—this time with the advantage of a full deposit.

In January 2016, we acquired a residence for $1.2M. Fast forward to July 2023, and that same property sold for an impressive $3.38M, yielding a staggering $1.68M profit. Few investments offer such remarkable returns, and this experience cemented my belief in the unparalleled potential of real estate.

My journey stands as proof that with strategy, resilience, and a keen eye for opportunity, financial freedom is not just possible—it’s inevitable.
